Better Than Black Friday . . . It’s Small Business Saturday in Williston!

Williston, ND (KEYZ)  Williston's small business answer to Black Friday is this coming Saturday, November 24th. Rachel Lordemann, Member Relations & Communications Manager for the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce, says one doesn't have to leave Williston to find great items and get great buys especially during the annual Small Business Saturday event this weekend: "I think you'll find most of your favorite stores in Williston are small businesses, so they will be open that day with specials, with deals. To incentivize you guys for shopping local that day."  Nationally, November 24th marks the ninth annual  Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting local small businesses and strengthening and celebrating communities across the country.  Together with the Williston Downtowners Assocation, the Chamber is working hard to do its part to support Williston's small businesses and to encourage residents to do the same.

Stores in Williston will generally open between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m., and will be easy to spot as the Chamber is providing participating businesses with special Small Business Saturday flags, balloons, and other signage.
