It's uncertain times now that the COVID-19 pandemic has hit North Dakota. Despite there being no cases in Williams County at the time of reporting, the community has been very generous in supporting those on the front lines.

In a release Thursday, the CHI Foundation recognized a number of businesses and individuals who donated towards the cause.

Western Cooperative Credit Union, Village Laundry, Ray VanHoutan, Carmen McFarlin, Sage Peterson, and Bryana Cotton donated masks and other apparel including hazmat suits.

Applebee's and Pita Palace fed the emergency room staff, and Meg-a-Latte and Well Pro combined to give free coffee to health care workers.

Albertson's and various community members donated various food including donuts and powerade.

Chloe’s heart donated $500 worth of gas cards for young families admitted who might have to travel long distances

Henry and Randi Jangula donated lunch for the Emergency Room and Respiratory Therapy staff

Kamila Dornfield, DDS donated 25 boxes of girl scout cookies for hospital staff

Foundation Director Janna Lutz says the generosity has been "heartwarming."
