Minot, ND (KEYZ) For those living in the City of Minot, there are NO excuses for not voting in the midterm elections this coming Tuesday, especially if transportation is a concern. Brian Horinka, superintendent of the City's Transit Department invites all residents to partake of Free Bus Ride Day, for swift passage to the city's centralized polling place at the Minot Armory.  Says Horinka, "with the Armory being the only polling location, we're trying to make it convenient for riders since the buses all stop at the Minot Municipal Auditorium, which is attached to the Armory."  Horinka also reminds residents that all buses are "100% handicap accessible" for those requiring additional assistance.

Polls are open, in Minot, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. coinciding with the hours for transit operations, and there is absolutely NO fee to ride the buses to the polls or anywhere else in the city on Tuesday.
