Florida Woman Dies in Fatal Rollover Crash Near Williston

Williston, ND (KEYZ) A Florida woman died early Saturday morning, May 16, 2020 at the scene of a rollover crash on Highway 2 about 10 miles north of Williston.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports the 22-year-old woman from Orlando, Florida was a passenger in an SUV which went out of control while traveling westbound on the highway at approximately 12:15 a.m. The vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Alex Booth of Williston, entered the median, rolled across the eastbound lanes, and came to rest in the south ditch.

The woman was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on scene. Booth did not sustain injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
