Williston, ND (KEYZ) Leadership Williston Class of 2019 members, Brittany Brost and Erin Stieg, have formed a new partnership to tackle a very ambitious project, meeting the needs of those served by Williston's Family Crisis Shelter. Through a collaboration that includes dialogue with Family Crisis Shelter staff, the ladies have crafted a plan to streamline the donation process, zeroing-in on the specific needs of shelter residents on a monthly basis with key donation locations available throughout the city.

Brost tells news radio that the Shelter is always grateful for donations from folks in the community but that those donations, in many cases, don't go to the heart of what shelter residents really need: "Our first campaign will be underwear and diapers, and they mentioned that they get newborn diapers and size one diapers because those babies grow out of those diapers fast, but they have a big need for the bigger size diapers." The "kick off" for the first campaign to accrue those much needed diapers and new underwear, in larger sizes, for women is March 1st. Brost and Stieg are currently shoring up convenient donation locations; their employers, US Bank and the Williston Housing Authority, are already on board.

To keep up with the ladies' Family Crisis Shelter Donation Campaign and to find the donation location most convenient to you, visit them online through the Chamber of Commerce Facebook page or the Family Crisis Shelter website at www.familycrisisshelter or in person; you'll find Brittany at US Bank and Erin at the Williston Housing Authority.
