Williston, ND (KEYZ) The sky over Williston will soon be busier as air travel increases and the Williston Basin International Airport (XWA) adds new flights, new destinations, and has a proposal from a new airline carrier that would like to come in.

United Airlines will be returning to pre-COVID flight options, adding a third daily flight to Denver beginning on July 1st. The flight schedule will include departures at 6:00am, 8:00am, and 3:00pm daily with arrivals at 2:30pm, 8:30, pm, and 12:00am.

Delta Air Lines, operated by SkyWest Airlines, will be returning their daily flights to Minneapolis on June 5th after suspending them in July of 2020 in response to the pandemic. Tickets for these flights are available for purchase now at delta.com

A third announcement included a mention of a proposal currently in consideration from an unnamed, low-cost airline carrier to add service at XWA.

These increases in services to the Williston Airport comes on the heels of $1.2 million in funds being awarded to XWA by the U.S. DOT.
