The state is monitoring two separate oil spills in McKenzie and Divide counties. State officials say 252 barrels spilled at a site owned by Slawson Exploration Company in Divide County on Saturday because of a recycle line failure. Officials say all the oil spilled was recovered. An equipment failure at a site owned by Burlington Resources Oil and Gas Company in McKenzie County caused about 24 barrels to spill on Sunday. No word on how much oil has been recovered there.
