Starbucks Opens For Business to Waiting Fans

Williston, ND (KEYZ)  Open for business, if the line didn't tell you right away, Starbucks inside Williston's Albertsons supermarket is officially open for business today. Manager Kris Brurud says the kiosk was actually ready for business Thursday afternoon, so they fired things up and had a "soft" opening last night.
"It went fabulous, we did free tall drinks between six and seven and and then actually opened for business between seven and eight," says Brurud, who was quite taken aback by the reception the store has received", he says.
"It's been busy, busy, busy. You know there has not been a moment that I have not seen someone standing in line waiting to get some coffee so it's great. Response has been very, very positive, he tells News Radio.

The store was due to open up last week on Valentine's Day, however the extreme weather had caused late shipment of supplies and materials needed for assembling the Starbucks Kiosk which is located at the front of the store, opposite the grocery checkout counters.
As for the customers, Brurud says "Alot of them are telling me they are so excited about this, being used to Starbucks back home and they had their favorite drink now and they are just so happy with the full service kiosk and being able to get the things that they wanted, and been able to get up until now,".
Besides the drinks and myriads of varieties of coffee are the snacks and muffins and stylized baked goods that has made Starbucks famous as well.
"Oh yeah, we've got the scones, and the hot sandwiches in fact that was my breakfast this morning," says Brurud. " got the double bacon and cheddar on a croissant and I was impressed."
