Officials with the North Dakota Highway Patrol release the name Thursday of the 26-year old driver who died at the scene of an early morning crash Monday in Williston.  Officers with the North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the crash at 12:35 am on 32nd Avenue West.  A 2018 Ford pickup, licensed by Dynamic Well Service but driven by Daniel Navarrete-Resendiz, of Perryton, TX, was northbound on 32nd Ave west when it drifted into the east ditch, striking a light pole which fell on the driver’s side. The vehicle continued to spin counterclockwise in the ditch coming to rest facing southwest. Navarrete-Resendiz was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP with assistance from the Williston Police
Department and Williston Public Works.​
