Williston, ND (KEYZ) School Safety Community Listening Forums are being held across the state this month. State Superintendent Kirsten Baesler says they offer residents a chance to voice their concerns over school safety and offer suggestions.
“We hope to gather some sense of need, some sense of idea of what our communities are experiencing? How safe they feel? Really looking for ideas that they may have to offer that we can support in our effort to make sure that our kids are safe,” says Baesler.
The first listening session is Tuesday, August 14th at Horizon Middle School in Bismarck. Others will be held in Dickinson, Williston, Fargo, Valley City and Rugby. Williston’s Forum will be at the High School Auditorium on August 23rd. All of the forums will start at 5:30 p.m. local time and end at 7 p.m.
