Williston’s Brave the Shave 2020 Surpasses Goal Say Organizers

Williston, ND (KEYZ) There are probably more than a few Williston folks running around town bald or certainly with a few less locks of hair on their heads thanks to last Saturday's very successful Brave the Shave event at Williston State College. Just how successful was this year's event:

"With the online total, our sloppy joe lunch, the silent auction, everything . . . our grand total was $23,425.00," says event organizer Melissa Johnson.

Johnson tells News Radio she and her team were super excited to realize proceeds in the fight against childhood cancer above and beyond the $20,000 goal originally set.

Johnson and her team are already looking at dates for next year's Brave the Shave event and are hoping to shoot for "even a bigger goal."
